Top of the Class

Today was a very busy day for Asher.  We went to our first Stroller Fitness class at Stanton Park.  I had to do lunges with the little guy in my arms.  I also ran around the circle holding him and even had him sit in my lap as I did sit-ups.  It was one of the hardest workouts I have ever done! I wanted Asher to cry just a little, so I could comfort him and take a break.  However, Asher did not cooperate and instead smiled at all the funny expressions I was making. Oy Vey!

After our workout we went to visit the students at my school.  Asher surprised everyone in my class by bringing Ben & Jerry's ice cream for all the students. The ice cream and Asher were a big hit.   Asher dressed up in a tie for the occasion, but you really can't tell in the picture because he is in his stroller.  I would give Asher an A+ for how cooperative he was with me today!

I can see the tip of Asher's head in the picture, can you?
Two days ago we hit the mall for the first time.  It seems fitting that Asher's first store to visit would be Nordstrom.  I stopped in for a minute, but walked out with the cutest little shirt for our little guy.

To mark his first Nordstrom visit, I had to take a picture.
Lately, his stamina for looking at things that dangle has grown.  Asher loves his floor mat and smiles constantly...he also eats his hands.

Finally, Roswell has been the unsung hero since Asher was born. He is constantly by our sides and stays with us while we feed Asher. He also alerts me when Asher starts to cry.  Roswell follows me everywhere and has become my little shadow. I love him even more now that Asher is in our lives.
