Rah, Rah, for Rochester!

It was one week ago today that Asher and I flew back from our wonderful trip to Rochester, NY.  We got the chance to visit our new cousin Elanna.  It also marked the first time I traveled alone with our baby boy on a plane. To top it off, I even rented a car and car seat.  Oh, how I felt so empowered to travel by myself with my son.  I had such a fun time with Asher and my family and I am so glad we were able to have this little adventure.

We made it to Rochester!

The cousins meet for the first time.

Elanna impressed us all by showing us that she is bound and determined to become the thumb sucking champion of the world. Asher has met his match!

My little snuggle bug, lady bug, bumble bee, cutie pie, baby bird...

So many names for Elanna, so little time.

Just waking up from her 50th nap of the day! I forgot how much newborns sleep.

Time for a stroll around the neighborhood with all of our babies, Harlee included.

A little snuggle with Elanna can make your heart melt.

Let's go Pittsburgh Penguins! Let's go!

Cousins

8 months old and 2 weeks old
"How ya doing, Elanna?" Asher explains what it is like to be 8 months old to his cousin.

After all the late night talks, playing with the cousins, singing Wheels on the Bus, shopping at Wegmans, discussing everything about a newborn and I mean EVERYTHING, it was time to head home.  Next time, we must hit Abbotts!!!

Asher on the airplane eyeing the button on the armrest. He loved playing with it. I let him sit on the seat next to me long enough to take these pictures. He was my wiggly worm.

See you soon, Marilyn, Marvin, Pam, BJ, Patty, and Elanna!!!
