Sitting Pretty

Today our little guy mastered the art of sitting on the ground all by himself.  He was able to play in his room with his blocks for several minutes before toppling over.  What a growing boy and what a special moment. 



Our cat, Max, was so curious he decided to hang out with us.




Look what I can do!

After all the morning excitement of playing with our toys while sitting up, we decided to try the highchair for the first time. Asher also tried his second day of eating butternut squash.  Yesterday, I made the pureed squash myself with my baby food maker, which I loved using, but apparently Asher disliked tasting.  So, Daddy made a great suggestion and told me to mix in the pureed squash with the rice cereal.  Today, I tried Daddy's suggestion and our baby loved it.  However, I think he liked feeding himself even better.
