On our plane ride back from Seattle Asher bit down on his Daddy's finger. Daddy then whispered to Mommy, "I think Asher has a bottom tooth, but every time I try to look for it, his tongue covers the spot." And so began the hunt for the elusive first tooth. We suspected that the tooth was there because feeding time was painful for all parties involved. Asher cried every time a cold bottle was given to him and he was scraping his spoons with what we thought were teeth. This past Sunday, Asher finally showed us his bottom tooth. It was so cute, so white, so, so, tiny!!! Over the last 24 hours since spotting the tooth, I have tried to get a picture, but to no avail, until this afternoon when I took him on a walk and he smiled his oh so toothy smile and I noticed that there was not just 1 tooth, but 2 beautiful teeth. Yay for happy babies and yay for baby teeth.
