GREAT Aunt and Uncle and Friends too! Poulsbo, Part 2

Let's hear it for friends and family! That is definitely the theme of our trip to the Northwest.

Asher finally met his GREAT Aunt Shelley and Uncle James.  They spent the day with us and Asher managed to get a lot of kisses and hugs from each of them. He also showed them his million dollar smile and infectious laugh.

Asher is so impressed with Aunt Shelley's scarf...

...he decides to gnaw on it

Inside for a little cuddle time.

Yes, Uncle James, Asher will drive fast cars with you and especially if you make those silly faces.

A little play time in the park. The driftwood as a backdrop makes you realize you are in the Northwest.

Asher looks forward to seeing his Aunt and Uncle in Washington DC this September.

After meeting his GREAT Aunt and Uncle it was time to visit with some of Mommy's friends. One of Mommy's friends was Jenny.  Jenny was able to hold Asher and Asher loved listening to Jenny and his mom catch up--they hadn't seen one another in 8 years...too long for sure!

Mommy, Jenny, and Asher

Then, one of Mommy's favorite friends in the whole wide world stopped by, Dani. Mommy has known Dani since she first became a teacher.  Unfortunately, Asher was not in the best mood. Dani understood though and took it all in stride. Here's to friends!

Asher looks happy in this picture, it is the magic of the string.

Finally, we made a special visit to see Heather and Jasen, we decided to leave little Asher at home with his Bubbie. This was a special visit after all because they just welcomed their son into their lives a few days earlier.  We were so happy to be in Washington during this special time.

Little Karter all bundled up.

Love you guys!

Boy our trip went fast, before you could blink it was time for us to pack up and head back to DC.  We will return soon. There is no place like home.

Reading the morning paper at 7 months, next stop, Harvard.
The three of us together. This picture is only the second one since Asher was born.
