This past Sunday, Asher had a lot of family in town. Aunt Shelley and Uncle James from Seattle and Grandpa Neil all came for a visit. We think Aunt Shelley and Uncle James brought the Seattle weather with them. It was sure cloudy, cold and gray for most of their visit. On Sunday, we decided to take the whole crew to the new Andy Warhol exhibit at the National Gallery of Art. We thought the adventure would be going to the museum. What we didn't expect was that the adventure was really getting to the museum. Here is our story in snapshots...

Time to head out for the day
How many Silversmiths does it take it put a baby in a stroller?
As our walk to the museum began, we decided to take a different metro because we felt it would be quicker to get to the museum. A nice little journey to Eastern Market on the autumn day was in order. Asher loved the ride to the metro and decided to tell us all about it. He squeaked and squeaked and squeaked some more.
| The pure joy on Asher's face after hearing his squeaks while waiting for the metro. |
20 minutes later, he is still one happy guy, squeaking away. Where is that metro anyway?
The metro finally arrived, but we accidentally jumped on the wrong one. We had to get off and wait another 10 minutes for the right one to arrive.
| The minor bump did not quell Asher's enthusiasm. Squeak away, Asher boy. |

Finally, after 30 minutes waiting for the metro we are on our way.
A quick stop at the sculpture garden before making our way to the museum.
We made it! |
However, once we arrived, Asher found that if he squeaked really high it would echo off of the marble rooms. The "please quiet" signs located at every corner of the museum let us know fairly quickly that this was not the place to take our squeaking machine. So, after over an hour to get to the location we promptly turned and walked home. The walk home only took 20 minutes. Why didn't we walk in the first place?

| Wait for me, Daddy and Asher. |
| All the fresh air tired the guy out. |
| Finally home and fast asleep. |
