A Birthday Party for Asher

Asher's Birthday party was a few weeks ago and boy did we have a good time. We had over 40 people attend and we shut down our local coffee shop for the event.  The theme for our January party was a Winter Wonderland with everything centered on feeling warm and cozy. Oddly enough, it happend to be 60 degrees on the day of the party.

Sweet Asher

The location had to fit the theme, a cozy local coffee shop!

Party Favors

Little snowman toys, sitckers, and kazoos to entertain all the "5 and under".

Cupcakes for all the guests--strawberry, chocolate, and vanilla.

I loved our balloons, we had around 100.

Snow globes as our centerpieces. I made the one in the back of this picture.

Giving the Birthday speech right before the cake.

Yummy!

Joy

Several times Asher was trying to go for his teether biscuit instead of the actual cake, here you can see him munching on the teether biscuit filled with frosting.

Even Asher's shirt was fit for the occasion. It was a little snowman with Asher's name printed on it.

Bubbie and the baby

Kiera lives up the street and her dad has been friends with Asher's daddy since college.

Alan, one of Asher's first friends. He also lives up the street. He is the cutest little guy. I always want to pinch his cheeks.

My newest little cousin from NYC, Bella.

Elanna, the party girl.

Bubbie's side of the family.

Cousins!

So much fun was had and so many memories were created. What a way to celebrate Asher's first year of life.
